Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, while this market represents the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately predict the outcome. Discrepancies can arise due to differing information, biases, or simply varying levels of market efficiency. If you find a significant difference between the implied probability on Polymarket and sportsbook odds, it might indicate an opportunity for value betting, assuming you have a strong conviction about the true probability.

Any news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategies, or unexpected performance in prior matches could shift trader sentiment.
