On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders buy shares in a particular outcome, its price increases, and vice versa. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market's price reflects the collective judgment of all participants, creating a dynamic and real-time assessment of the event's likelihood. This contrasts with fixed-odds betting, where prices are set by a bookmaker and remain static until the event concludes.
This market resolves around Oct 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the Hrekh vs. Konkulovskyi match, as reported by the governing sporting body. This ensures a transparent and objective determination of the winning outcome. The platform will verify the result against widely available and trusted sources to guarantee accuracy and fairness for all participants in this market.
Several signals or events could significantly move this market before resolution. Any news regarding player injuries, changes in coaching strategies, or unexpected developments in the players’ recent performance could influence trader sentiment. Public opinion shifts, reflected in polls or expert analyses, can also impact the market. Furthermore, significant betting activity – a large influx of volume on one outcome – could signal a change in perceived probability and drive price movements. Monitoring these factors will be key to understanding how this market evolves leading up to Oct 1, 2026.
