Description

This event tracks the performance of two baseball teams during the first five innings of their scheduled game. It focuses on the margin of victory for either team within that specific segment of the match, providing insight into early-game dominance. The outcome depends solely on the run difference at the end of the fifth inning, regardless of the final full-game result.

Kalshi

The event consists of four separate markets, each evaluating whether a specified team wins the first five innings of the Houston vs New York M game by a particular run margin. Market outcomes are determined exclusively by the score differential at the end of the fifth inning. If New York M wins by more than 2.5 runs in the first five innings, the first market resolves to Yes. If New York M wins by more than 1.5 runs (but not exceeding 2.5), the second market resolves to Yes. Conversely, if Houston wins by more than 1.5 runs, the third market resolves to Yes, and if Houston wins by more than 2.5 runs, the fourth market resolves to Yes. If the game is postponed or delayed, all markets remain open and will close after the rescheduled game completes, provided the reschedule occurs within two days of the original date. No market resolves unless the specified run-differential condition is met within the first five innings of play.
