This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between Xianyou Gaming and WLT Esports Club in the KPL Growth League Group Stage, initially scheduled for July 14 at 8:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Xianyou Gaming" if Xianyou Gaming win the match against WLT Esports Club. This market will resolve to "WLT Esports Club" if WLT Esports Club win the match against Xianyou Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets are driven by traders seeking to profit from accurate forecasting. This market aggregates the collective judgment of participants willing to stake real capital on their beliefs about the outcome. Over time, prediction markets have demonstrated competitive accuracy relative to professional oddsmakers, particularly when the participant pool is large and diverse.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader activity into continuous odds. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Shares representing each outcome trade against a liquidity pool, and the price you see reflects the current ratio of capital allocated to that outcome versus others. As traders buy shares predicting one result, the price of that outcome rises and the price of alternatives falls. This mechanism ensures the market remains liquid and responsive to new information throughout the event window.
This market resolves around Jul 14, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the match result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution hinges on the final score and winner of the best-of-five series between the two teams in the KPL Growth League Group Stage. Traders should monitor official league announcements and match broadcasts to track developments. Once the event concludes and the result is publicly confirmed, the market will settle accordingly and payouts will be distributed to holders of the winning shares.
Key catalysts include roster changes, player injuries, recent team performance in prior matches, and any official league communications affecting either squad. Pre-match analysis from esports commentators and team-specific news can shift trader sentiment significantly. Live match developments—such as early game momentum, objective control, or unexpected strategic shifts—will drive intraday price swings as the event unfolds. Social media discussion and community predictions may also influence trader behavior. Monitor team social channels and league updates for announcements that could alter expectations about the outcome.
