This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between Xianyou Gaming and UU Gamers in the KPL Growth League Group Stage, initially scheduled for June 30 at 1:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Xianyou Gaming" if Xianyou Gaming win the match against UU Gamers. This market will resolve to "UU Gamers" if UU Gamers win the match against Xianyou Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events differently because they operate under distinct incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets like this one reflect the aggregated beliefs of traders risking real capital. Over time, prediction market prices often converge toward outcomes that sportsbooks may lag on, especially in niche esports events where public betting volume is lower. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus diverges and highlight potential value.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling shares that represent different outcomes of the match. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each share trades between 0 and 1 USD, with the price reflecting the collective probability assigned by the market. As new information surfaces—team roster changes, recent performance, or live match developments—traders adjust their positions, moving prices up or down. The current odds reflect the latest consensus among active participants on the platform.
This market resolves around Jun 30, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be determined by the final series result, confirmed through official KPL records or trusted esports news sources. Until that point, prices may fluctuate based on team news, player availability, and live match momentum. Resolution occurs automatically once the event is complete and the winning team is officially confirmed.
Several catalysts could shift prices before resolution. Last-minute roster changes or player substitutions announced by either team would likely trigger sharp moves, as would injury reports or roster confirmations. Live match performance—early game momentum, objective control, and individual player standout moments—will drive intraday volatility. Pre-match analysis from esports commentators and community sentiment on social media may also influence trader positioning. Any official statement from the teams or league regarding match conditions could similarly impact the odds.
