This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between Xianyou Gaming and Qing Jiu Club in the KPL Growth League Group Stage, initially scheduled for June 22 at 8:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Xianyou Gaming" if Xianyou Gaming win the match against Qing Jiu Club. This market will resolve to "Qing Jiu Club" if Qing Jiu Club win the match against Xianyou Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different liquidity pools and trader bases. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets price outcomes through open trading where participants directly stake capital on their beliefs. This market aggregates the collective intelligence of traders who profit by accurately forecasting the match result. Comparing this market's implied probability to sportsbook spreads can reveal where the two venues disagree, signaling potential value or consensus shifts in how the esports community views each team's chances.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker and order-book mechanism where traders directly buy and sell outcome shares. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects supply and demand; as more traders back one team, that outcome's share price rises and its implied probability increases. You can execute trades at the current bid-ask spread, and large trades may move the price noticeably. The continuous pricing mechanism ensures the market stays responsive to new information about team form, roster changes, or other factors affecting the match.
This market resolves around Jun 22, 2026, once the best-of-five series concludes and the winner is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by which team wins the majority of games in the match according to official KPL Growth League records. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell shares as new information emerges. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the final game, after results are confirmed by the league and any official dispute period closes.
Key catalysts include roster announcements, player injuries or substitutions, recent tournament results, and team performance trends in the weeks leading up to the match. Patch updates to Honor of Kings that shift the meta can also reshape expectations about which team's playstyle has an edge. Media coverage, expert predictions, and community sentiment on esports forums may influence trader positioning. As the match date approaches, odds typically tighten and volatility may spike if one team is perceived as gaining momentum or if unexpected roster changes occur close to game time.
