This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between Xianyou Gaming and LT Gaming in the KPL Growth League Group Stage, initially scheduled for June 27 at 6:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Xianyou Gaming" if Xianyou Gaming win the match against LT Gaming. This market will resolve to "LT Gaming" if LT Gaming win the match against Xianyou Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance liability and profit margin, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders risking real capital on their beliefs. Prediction markets tend to aggregate dispersed information efficiently, sometimes offering sharper odds than sportsbooks, especially for niche esports events. However, sportsbook odds may incorporate additional factors like injury reports or late-breaking news faster in some cases. Comparing the two can reveal whether consensus favors one outcome more strongly in one venue than the other.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker pool. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective willingness of participants to back that result, with higher prices indicating stronger conviction. As new information emerges or sentiment shifts, traders adjust their positions, causing the implied probability to move in real time. The market's price discovery mechanism ensures that odds remain responsive to fresh developments, trader analysis, and event momentum throughout the KPL Growth League match window.
This market resolves around Jun 27, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by which team wins the best-of-five series under official KPL Growth League rules and scoring. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome receive their payout, while incorrect positions expire worthless. Resolution timing depends on match completion and official confirmation, so monitor the event schedule to anticipate when this market will settle.
Several catalysts can shift odds before resolution. Team roster changes, player substitutions, or injury announcements affecting either squad will likely trigger repricing. In-game momentum during early matches in the series can swing trader sentiment sharply, especially if one team dominates early rounds. Patch updates to Honor of Kings or meta shifts affecting champion viability may influence perceived team strength. Pre-match analysis from esports commentators and community predictions can also move the market. Real-time performance during the best-of-five will be the primary driver, with each game outcome reshaping expectations for the series winner.
