This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between Wolves and WST in the King Pro League Stage 1 Group 3, initially scheduled for June 28 at 8:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Wolves" if Wolves win the match against WST. This market will resolve to "WST" if WST win the match against Wolves. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven purely by trader conviction and information flow. Prediction markets typically incorporate real-time updates and breaking news faster than sportsbooks adjust their lines. For esports events like this match, prediction market prices can reveal sharp trader positioning that sportsbooks may lag on, especially if the esports betting market is less mature than mainstream sports. Comparing the two can highlight where informed traders see value.
On Polymarket, traders set the price of this market through an automated market maker that adjusts odds based on buy and sell volume. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more capital flowing into one outcome, the higher its price climbs, and vice versa. This mechanism ensures continuous liquidity and allows traders to enter or exit positions at any time before the market closes. Prices reflect the collective belief of all participants about which team will win the best-of-five series. Because pricing is decentralized and driven by real money at stake, the odds tend to incorporate available information efficiently.
This market resolves around Jun 28, 2026, once the King Pro League Stage 1 Group 3 match between Wolves and WST concludes and the result is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which team wins the best-of-five series. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome receive their payout, while losing positions expire worthless. The resolution window allows time for official confirmation from the league or tournament organizers before final settlement occurs.
Several factors can shift prices before this market resolves. Roster changes, player injuries, or lineup announcements from either Wolves or WST will likely trigger sharp repricing as traders reassess competitive balance. Recent tournament results and head-to-head records between the teams influence sentiment. Scrim results or practice footage leaks can move odds if they suggest unexpected strength or weakness. Meta shifts in Honor of Kings or balance patches from the developer may favor one team's playstyle over the other. Media coverage, expert analysis, and community sentiment also flow into trader positioning as the match date approaches.
