This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between WLT Esports Club and WanZhen Esports Club in the KPL Growth League Group Stage, initially scheduled for July 5 at 6:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "WLT Esports Club" if WLT Esports Club win the match against WanZhen Esports Club. This market will resolve to "WanZhen Esports Club" if WanZhen Esports Club win the match against WLT Esports Club. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds on this market often diverge from traditional sportsbook lines because they reflect real-time trader sentiment rather than fixed bookmaker spreads. Sportsbooks typically adjust odds to balance liability, whereas prediction markets aggregate decentralized participant beliefs continuously. This market may show sharper or more volatile pricing if esports betting liquidity is concentrated elsewhere, or it may converge with sportsbook odds if both venues attract similar analytical attention. Comparing the two can reveal where informed traders see edge relative to professional oddsmakers.
On Polymarket, traders set prices through an automated market maker mechanism, where each outcome contract trades at a probability reflecting cumulative buy and sell pressure. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The top outcome currently reflects strong conviction among participants, though prices remain fluid as new information surfaces. Liquidity depth and order flow dynamics determine how quickly prices adjust to breaking news, roster changes, or pre-match analysis. Wider spreads may appear during low-activity periods, while tighter pricing emerges closer to match start.
This market resolves around Jul 5, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the official match result as recorded by the KPL Growth League, with individual game winners and series outcomes confirmed through league-sanctioned channels. Resolution occurs after sufficient time for official confirmation, ensuring accuracy and preventing premature settlement disputes. Traders should monitor league communications and broadcast results to anticipate resolution timing.
Key catalysts include roster announcements, player substitutions, recent team performance trends, and pre-match analysis from esports commentators. Injury reports or unexpected lineup changes can shift odds significantly, as can public statements from team management about strategy. Live match momentum—early game leads, map bans, or draft phase surprises—will drive sharp repricing during play. Community sentiment on social media and betting forums may also influence trader positioning ahead of critical games, particularly if underdogs show early strength or favorites stumble.
