This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between WLT Esports Club and TC Grouping in the KPL Growth League Group Stage, initially scheduled for July 4 at 8:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "WLT Esports Club" if WLT Esports Club win the match against TC Grouping. This market will resolve to "TC Grouping" if TC Grouping win the match against WLT Esports Club. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. This market may offer sharper or more volatile odds than conventional betting venues, especially for niche esports events where sportsbook liquidity is limited. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus differs most.
On Polymarket, traders set the price of this market through an automated market maker that adjusts odds based on order flow and share inventory. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome has a continuous price between 0 and 1, representing the collective probability estimate. As more traders buy or sell shares reflecting their views on the match result, the price shifts to reflect new information, creating a dynamic equilibrium that balances supply and demand in real time.
This market resolves around Jul 4, 2026, once the Honor of Kings match between WLT Esports Club and TC Grouping concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will reflect the official winner of the best-of-five series as confirmed by the KPL Growth League. Resolution timing depends on when the match is played and results are officially published, after which traders' positions settle according to the final outcome.
Key catalysts include roster changes, recent tournament performance, head-to-head records, and player injury or availability updates for either team. Patch changes to Honor of Kings or meta shifts in the competitive environment can also influence expectations. Media coverage, expert predictions, and betting action on external sportsbooks may signal shifting confidence. As the match date approaches, training footage, team statements, or lineup confirmations could trigger significant repricing in this market.
