This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between Weibo Gaming and AG Super Play in the King Pro League Stage 2 Group S, initially scheduled for July 12 at 8:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Weibo Gaming" if Weibo Gaming win the match against AG Super Play. This market will resolve to "AG Super Play" if AG Super Play win the match against Weibo Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are priced by traders who buy and sell shares based on their beliefs about the outcome. Prediction markets can sometimes offer sharper, more efficient pricing because traders have direct financial incentive to identify mispriced outcomes. However, sportsbooks may have deeper liquidity and tighter spreads in some cases. Comparing the two can reveal valuable insights into how different communities assess the match.
On Polymarket, traders set the price of this market through an automated market maker that adjusts odds based on buy and sell volume. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome is represented as a tradable share, and the current price reflects the collective belief of all active traders about which team will win. As new information surfaces—such as roster announcements or recent tournament results—traders adjust their positions, moving the price up or down. The more traders believe in a particular outcome, the higher its price climbs, creating a dynamic, real-time probability estimate.
This market resolves around Jul 12, 2026, once the match concludes and the winner is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official result recorded by the King Pro League or Honor of Kings esports authorities. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell shares as odds fluctuate. Resolution happens automatically once the event is finalized and the platform receives confirmation of the match result.
Several catalysts could shift odds before resolution. Roster changes or player substitutions announced by either team would likely trigger significant price movement, as would recent tournament performance or head-to-head records. Injury reports, coaching changes, or statements from team management can also influence trader sentiment. Meta shifts in Honor of Kings—such as character balance patches or new item releases—may alter competitive dynamics and reshape expectations. Media coverage, expert analysis, and community sentiment on social platforms can amplify these moves as traders react to new information and adjust their positions accordingly.
