This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between WanZhen Esports Club and TC Grouping in the KPL Growth League Group Stage, initially scheduled for June 23 at 3:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "WanZhen Esports Club" if WanZhen Esports Club win the match against TC Grouping. This market will resolve to "TC Grouping" if TC Grouping win the match against WanZhen Esports Club. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets aggregate distributed trader beliefs in real time. This market may show sharper or more volatile pricing than traditional sportsbooks, particularly as new information emerges closer to the event. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd's conviction differs from professional oddsmakers' risk management.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker or order book system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each share represents a claim on one possible result, and the price reflects the collective probability estimate of all active traders. As new information surfaces—team roster changes, recent performance, or injury reports—traders adjust their positions, moving prices to equilibrate supply and demand. Liquidity and trading volume influence how quickly prices respond to news.
This market resolves around Jun 23, 2026, once the best-of-five series concludes and the winner is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which team wins the majority of games in the match under official KPL Growth League rules. Resolution typically occurs shortly after the final game is played and results are confirmed by the league or trusted esports reporting outlets. Early or delayed resolution may occur if the series is postponed or if official results require clarification.
Key catalysts include roster announcements, player substitutions, or injury news affecting either team's competitive strength. Recent tournament results and head-to-head records can shift trader confidence as the match date approaches. In-game performance during earlier group stage matches may reveal meta shifts or strategic weaknesses that reshape expectations. Betting volume spikes and sharp money inflows often precede major moves, signaling informed traders' conviction about the likely outcome.
