This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between WanZhen Esports Club and Qing Jiu Club in the KPL Growth League Group Stage, initially scheduled for July 14 at 3:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "WanZhen Esports Club" if WanZhen Esports Club win the match against Qing Jiu Club. This market will resolve to "Qing Jiu Club" if Qing Jiu Club win the match against WanZhen Esports Club. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the collective beliefs of traders who have real money at stake on outcomes. This market aggregates thousands of individual forecasts into a single price, which can sometimes outperform traditional sportsbook lines, especially in niche esports events where bookmaker coverage is limited. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd sees value relative to professional oddsmakers.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that adjusts odds continuously based on order flow and trader positions. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the cumulative bets placed, with the system incentivizing arbitrage to keep pricing efficient. As traders buy or sell shares representing each possible result, the implied probability shifts in real time. This mechanism ensures that prices remain responsive to new information and market sentiment throughout the trading window.
This market resolves around Jul 14, 2026, once the best-of-five match between the two clubs concludes and the winner is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by which team wins the majority of games in the series. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell positions as new information emerges, team rosters are confirmed, or performance data becomes available. Resolution typically occurs shortly after the final game is played and official results are published.
Several catalysts could shift odds significantly before resolution. Player roster announcements or last-minute roster changes can alter perceived team strength. Recent tournament performance by either club, patch updates to the Honor of Kings game itself, and head-to-head historical records all influence trader positioning. Injury or availability news regarding key players may trigger sharp moves. Additionally, betting volume spikes and social media sentiment around esports communities can accelerate repricing. Any official statements from team management or league officials could also prompt rapid market adjustments.
