If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they operate under different incentive structures. Sportsbooks set odds to balance their book and guarantee profit margins, while prediction markets are driven by trader consensus and real-money commitment. This market reflects what informed participants actually believe will happen, unfiltered by a bookmaker's margin. Comparing this market's implied probabilities to major sportsbook lines can reveal where public opinion and professional oddsmakers disagree, potentially highlighting value opportunities or consensus blind spots.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the aggregate belief of all participants, with each trade updating the price based on supply and demand. Shares that traders view as underpriced attract buying pressure, while overpriced shares see selling. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures the market stays responsive to new information and trader conviction, making the final odds a real-time consensus forecast of the event's outcome.
This market resolves around Jun 22, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official result of the best-of-five series between the two teams. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will receive their payout, while incorrect positions expire worthless. Until that point, prices will fluctuate as the event approaches and as any new developments affect trader expectations.
Several factors could shift prices before resolution. Team roster announcements, player injuries, or last-minute lineup changes would likely trigger sharp repricing. Recent tournament results, head-to-head records, and performance trends in the KPL Growth League feed trader confidence. Coaching decisions, strategic meta shifts in the game, or public statements from team management can also sway sentiment. As the match date approaches, increased media coverage and analyst commentary may drive volatility. Any unexpected developments in either team's preparation or form could prompt significant position adjustments.
