This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between UU Gamers and WanZhen Esports Club in the KPL Growth League Group Stage, initially scheduled for July 7 at 3:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "UU Gamers" if UU Gamers win the match against WanZhen Esports Club. This market will resolve to "WanZhen Esports Club" if WanZhen Esports Club win the match against UU Gamers. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different mechanisms. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like Polymarket are driven by trader consensus—each participant's capital vote shapes the price. Sportsbooks may adjust faster for sharp money or public bias, whereas prediction markets aggregate dispersed information over time. For this match, comparing the current market price to traditional esports betting lines can reveal whether traders see different value than bookmakers, though prediction markets tend to reflect longer-term conviction rather than short-term line movement.
On Polymarket, traders set the price by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker pool. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each share represents a claim on one outcome, and the price you see reflects the ratio of capital allocated to each side. As more traders believe UU Gamers will win, they buy those shares, pushing the price higher; conversely, confidence in WanZhen drives its price up. This continuous price discovery mechanism means the odds update in real time based on order flow, allowing you to enter or exit at any moment before resolution.
This market resolves around Jul 7, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will be determined by which team wins the best-of-five series in the KPL Growth League Group Stage. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome will receive their payout, while shares in the losing outcome expire worthless. The resolution is straightforward: whichever team secures three victories in the series will be confirmed as the winner.
Several factors could shift trader sentiment before this market closes. Team roster changes, player injuries, or last-minute lineup announcements may alter perceived strength. Recent performance data, head-to-head records, and tournament momentum all influence confidence in either side. Analyst predictions and community discussion on esports forums can sway opinion, especially if new strategic insights emerge. Additionally, any official statements from the teams or league regarding match conditions, scheduling, or format could prompt repricing. Real-time updates during the series itself—such as early map results in a best-of-five—will likely trigger sharp moves as traders adjust their positions based on live performance.
