This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between UU Gamers and TC Grouping in the KPL Growth League Group Stage, initially scheduled for July 12 at 6:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "UU Gamers" if UU Gamers win the match against TC Grouping. This market will resolve to "TC Grouping" if TC Grouping win the match against UU Gamers. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate decentralized trader beliefs in real time. For esports events like this one, prediction markets may react faster to roster changes, recent performance, or community sentiment, whereas sportsbooks adjust more conservatively. Neither is inherently more accurate, but comparing the two can reveal where informed traders see value relative to conventional betting lines.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that adjusts odds continuously as traders buy and sell shares tied to each possible outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Prices reflect the cumulative belief of all participants; as more capital flows toward one outcome, its price rises and the opposing outcome's price falls. The spread between bid and ask prices tightens or widens based on recent trading volume and order book depth, making the market more or less efficient depending on participation levels.
This market resolves around Jul 12, 2026, once the best-of-five series concludes and the winner is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which team wins the required number of games to claim the series. Until that point, traders can adjust positions as new information emerges, such as in-game performance, team announcements, or bracket developments within the KPL Growth League.
Key catalysts include individual game results within the series, which directly influence the probability of each team advancing; roster announcements or player substitutions that alter competitive balance; and real-time performance metrics such as kill-death ratios or objective control during live play. Community sentiment, injury reports, or coaching changes can also shift trader positioning. As the series progresses, each completed game narrows the outcome space, causing sharp repricing. Pre-series scrimmages or analyst commentary may also trigger early volatility.
