This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between UU Gamers and JA Gaming in the KPL Growth League Group Stage, initially scheduled for July 4 at 6:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "UU Gamers" if UU Gamers win the match against JA Gaming. This market will resolve to "JA Gaming" if JA Gaming win the match against UU Gamers. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they serve different purposes and audiences. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and extract margin, while prediction markets like Polymarket price outcomes based on trader consensus and real-money incentives. Prediction markets can sometimes offer sharper, more efficient pricing because participants profit directly from accuracy rather than volume. However, sportsbooks may have deeper liquidity and faster reaction times to breaking news. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbook lines can reveal arbitrage opportunities or signal where professional and retail traders disagree.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker (AMM) system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome has a price between 0 and 100 cents, reflecting the implied probability that outcome occurs. As more traders back one result, its price rises and competing outcomes fall. Liquidity depth determines how much slippage you experience on larger trades. The market remains open until resolution, allowing continuous repricing as new information about team performance, injuries, or match conditions emerges.
This market resolves around Jul 4, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the final score and match result as officially recorded by the KPL and Honor of Kings esports governing bodies. Traders should monitor official league channels and match broadcasts for confirmation. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the final game, though delays can occur if disputes arise or if official results take longer to be published.
Several catalysts can shift odds before the match concludes. Roster announcements, player injuries, or last-minute substitutions can significantly alter perceived team strength. Pre-match scrimmages or recent tournament results may reveal new meta strategies or team form. During the series itself, each game outcome feeds back into live trading, so early wins or losses reshape expectations for the remaining games. Analyst commentary, community sentiment, and betting patterns on external sportsbooks can also influence Polymarket pricing. Monitor official team social media and esports news outlets for developments.
