This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between Team WE and SYGaming in the King Pro League Stage 1 Group 1, initially scheduled for June 27 at 2:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Team WE" if Team WE win the match against SYGaming. This market will resolve to "SYGaming" if SYGaming win the match against Team WE. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven purely by trader conviction and information flow. Esports betting markets on sportsbooks may have tighter spreads due to professional sharp action, whereas prediction markets can exhibit wider ranges during low-volume periods. Comparing this market's odds to major esports sportsbooks reveals whether the crowd on Polymarket is more bullish or bearish on either team relative to professional oddsmakers.
On Polymarket, traders set prices through an automated market maker that adjusts odds based on order flow and liquidity. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome in this market is represented as a tradable share, and the price of each share reflects the collective probability estimate. As more capital flows toward Team WE or SYGaming, the odds shift to balance supply and demand. The market's depth and sensitivity to new information depend on total liquidity; higher volume typically produces tighter bid-ask spreads and faster price discovery around match-relevant news.
This market resolves around Jun 27, 2026, once the King Pro League Stage 1 Group 1 match between the two teams concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by which team wins the best-of-five series. Resolution occurs after the final game is played and official league records confirm the victor. Traders should monitor the King Pro League's official schedule and standings to track progress toward settlement.
Key catalysts include roster announcements, player injuries, or substitutions announced before the match. Pre-match scrimmage results and team performance in earlier King Pro League games will influence trader positioning. Media coverage, expert predictions, and social sentiment within the esports community can shift odds as match day approaches. In-game momentum during earlier rounds of the best-of-five series may trigger sharp repricing if one team establishes dominance. Betting volume spikes often accompany major esports tournaments, so liquidity and volatility may increase as the event draws closer.
