This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between SYGaming and EDward Gaming in the King Pro League Stage 2 Group A, initially scheduled for July 23 at 2:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "SYGaming" if SYGaming win the match against EDward Gaming. This market will resolve to "EDward Gaming" if EDward Gaming win the match against SYGaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and protect their margin, while prediction markets aggregate beliefs from traders risking real capital. For this market, comparing the implied probability on Polymarket to published sportsbook lines can reveal whether the crowd is more or less confident than professional oddsmakers. Such gaps sometimes highlight overlooked information or differing risk assessments.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into real-time probabilities. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price you see reflects the cumulative bets placed on each outcome; as more capital flows toward one side, the odds shift to rebalance supply and demand. Traders buy and sell shares continuously, and the current price represents the marginal cost of adding one more unit of exposure to either outcome.
This market resolves around Jul 23, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official final score and winner announced by the King Pro League. Until that point, prices may fluctuate as new information emerges—such as team roster updates, recent performance trends, or injury news—allowing traders to adjust their positions.
Several catalysts could shift prices before Jul 23, 2026. Team roster changes, player injuries, or surprise roster swaps announced by either squad would likely trigger repricing. Recent match results and win streaks leading up to the event can reshape expectations about form and momentum. Coaching decisions, strategic meta shifts in the game, and head-to-head historical records may also influence trader sentiment. Any credible reporting on team preparation or external circumstances affecting either competitor could prompt rapid position adjustments.
