This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between Mighty Tiger Gaming and TC Grouping in the KPL Growth League Group Stage, initially scheduled for July 7 at 6:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Mighty Tiger Gaming" if Mighty Tiger Gaming win the match against TC Grouping. This market will resolve to "TC Grouping" if TC Grouping win the match against Mighty Tiger Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance liability and profit, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital. This market may show different implied probabilities than traditional sportsbooks covering the same esports event, particularly if one venue has sharper or more active participation. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus is strongest and where outlier opinions exist in the betting ecosystem.
On Polymarket, traders set prices through an automated market maker mechanism, where each outcome's price reflects the cumulative trades placed against it. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The top outcome currently reflects strong trader conviction, though prices remain dynamic until resolution. Participants buy or sell shares in each outcome, and the platform's algorithm adjusts prices based on order flow, ensuring continuous liquidity. This decentralized pricing model means the odds you see represent real money at stake, not a bookmaker's fixed line.
This market resolves around Jul 7, 2026, once the esports match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the official match result as recorded by the KPL Growth League or confirmed through established esports news sources. Traders holding shares in the winning outcome receive their payout once the event is finalized and the platform confirms the result. Until that point, prices remain fluid as new information and expectations shift market sentiment.
Team roster changes, recent performance trends, and player injury announcements can shift trader expectations significantly. Scrimmage results or statements from team management may influence how participants price each outcome. Meta shifts in the game itself—balance patches or strategy innovations—can alter perceived matchup strength. As the event date approaches, any public commentary from analysts or competing teams could trigger repricing. On the day of the match, live updates during earlier games in the series will likely drive substantial price movement as traders react to unfolding results.
