This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between LGD NBW and Talent Gaming in the King Pro League Stage 2 Group S, initially scheduled for July 13 at 8:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "LGD NBW" if LGD NBW win the match against Talent Gaming. This market will resolve to "Talent Gaming" if Talent Gaming win the match against LGD NBW. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events differently because they operate on distinct mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds based on internal models and risk management, then adjust lines to balance their books. Prediction markets like this one derive prices from open trading between participants, reflecting collective belief rather than a bookmaker's calculation. This market's odds represent an aggregated forecast from thousands of traders with real money at stake, often capturing information faster than traditional venues. Comparing the two can reveal where public sentiment diverges from professional oddsmakers, though each reflects legitimate market intelligence.
On Polymarket, traders set the price of this market through continuous buying and selling of outcome shares. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The odds you see reflect the current supply and demand balance—as more traders believe in a particular result, the price of that outcome rises, and vice versa. Each share costs between 0 and 1 dollar, with the total of all outcome prices always summing to 1 dollar. This mechanism ensures prices remain grounded in real trader conviction, making the market self-correcting as new information emerges about team performance, roster changes, or other competitive factors.
This market resolves around Jul 13, 2026, once the King Pro League Stage 2 Group S match between the two teams concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official match result recorded by the esports league and broadcast partners. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell shares as new information about team form, player availability, or in-game developments emerges. Resolution is automatic once the event is finalized and documented through established league channels.
Several factors could shift trader sentiment and move prices before the match concludes. Roster announcements, player injuries, or last-minute lineup changes for either team would likely trigger sharp repricing. Recent tournament results, head-to-head records, and scrim performance leaks from the esports community often influence expectations. In-game momentum during the best-of-five series itself—early map wins, draft surprises, or standout individual performances—will drive continuous price adjustments as traders update their beliefs. Commentary from analysts and live reaction from the competitive community can also accelerate moves as new narratives develop.
