This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between Kuaishou Gaming and Douyu Gaming in the King Pro League Stage 1 Group 3, initially scheduled for June 27 at 5:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Kuaishou Gaming" if Kuaishou Gaming win the match against Douyu Gaming. This market will resolve to "Douyu Gaming" if Douyu Gaming win the match against Kuaishou Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events through different mechanisms. Sportsbooks employ oddsmakers who set fixed lines and manage liability, while prediction markets allow traders to continuously buy and sell shares, letting supply and demand determine the final odds. This market reflects aggregated trader conviction rather than a single bookmaker's view. Prediction market prices often converge toward consensus when large volumes of informed participants trade, though they may diverge from sportsbook lines during low-liquidity periods or when new information reaches one venue before another.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that adjusts odds based on the ratio of shares held in each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders purchase shares representing either team's victory, and the cumulative trading activity—reflected in the current volume and historical price chart—determines the real-time probability. As traders buy or sell, the price moves to reflect changing expectations about the match result, creating a continuous price discovery mechanism that responds to new analysis, team news, and betting demand throughout the trading window.
This market resolves around Jun 27, 2026, once the match concludes and the winner is verifiable from credible public reporting of the King Pro League. The outcome is determined by which team wins the best-of-five series; the first to claim three maps advances. Resolution occurs after the final map is played and the result is officially confirmed by the league or its broadcast partners, ensuring all traders have access to the same authoritative information before settlement.
Several catalysts may shift this market before Jun 27, 2026. Roster changes, player injuries, or substitutions announced by either organization can significantly alter perceived win probability. Recent scrim results, patch updates to the Honor of Kings client, and performance trends from earlier King Pro League matches all influence trader positioning. Media coverage, expert predictions from esports analysts, and betting syndicate activity may also trigger repricing. Additionally, head-to-head matchup history and map pool preferences can become focal points as the match date approaches, prompting traders to reassess their positions based on tactical advantages.
