This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between Koala Game and TC Grouping in the KPL Growth League Group Stage, initially scheduled for June 30 at 3:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Koala Game" if Koala Game win the match against TC Grouping. This market will resolve to "TC Grouping" if TC Grouping win the match against Koala Game. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction markets and traditional sportsbooks price events differently because they operate under distinct mechanisms. Sportsbooks set odds to balance liability and extract margin, while prediction markets like Polymarket derive prices from continuous trader activity and supply-demand dynamics. This market's odds reflect aggregated trader conviction rather than a bookmaker's risk model, often resulting in sharper or more volatile pricing. Comparing this market's implied probability to sportsbook lines can reveal where public opinion diverges from professional oddsmakers, though both sources update as new information emerges.
On Polymarket, traders set prices through an automated market maker and order book, with each outcome's price reflecting the collective willingness to buy or sell at that level. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The top outcome—Games Total: O/U 3.5—currently trades at a high implied probability, indicating strong consensus that the series will extend beyond three games. As new information surfaces or match conditions change, prices adjust in real time. Liquidity and trading volume influence how quickly prices respond to shifts in trader sentiment.
This market resolves around Jun 30, 2026, once the Koala Game vs TC Grouping series concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome depends on whether the total number of games played falls above or below 3.5, making it a straightforward count of matches needed to determine a winner in the best-of-five format. Resolution occurs automatically once the event is confirmed through official KPL records or trusted esports reporting.
Several factors could shift odds before resolution. Team roster changes, recent performance trends, or coaching adjustments may alter expectations about match competitiveness. In-game momentum during the series itself—such as dominant performances or unexpected upsets—will trigger rapid repricing as traders update their forecasts. External events like server issues, schedule delays, or injury announcements could also influence trading. Early series results are particularly powerful catalysts; a 2–0 lead, for instance, would dramatically increase the likelihood of a sub-3.5 outcome, prompting significant market movement.
