This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between JLY and WanZhen Esports Club in the KPL Growth League Group Stage, initially scheduled for August 8 at 2:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "JLY" if JLY win the match against WanZhen Esports Club. This market will resolve to "WanZhen Esports Club" if WanZhen Esports Club win the match against JLY. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

On Polymarket, this market reflects trader sentiment rather than traditional sportsbook lines. Prediction market odds adjust dynamically based on real-time trading activity and volume of $853, allowing for rapid shifts in perception as the match progresses. Sportsbook odds, by contrast, are set by professional oddsmakers who factor in broader analytics and historical data. Traders on Polymarket often see more volatile pricing, especially in fast-moving matches like the JLY vs WanZhen BO5 winner market, where early trades can heavily influence the current implied probability.
This market resolves around Aug 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the match result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The winner of the JLY vs WanZhen BO5 series — determined by the team that wins three maps first — will settle this market, reflecting the final, official match result.
Key signals that could shift this market include player injuries, coaching changes, recent match performance, and team announcements. Momentum swings during early games in the series may also cause rapid re-pricing as traders reassess probabilities. Public sentiment, especially from influential analysts or fan communities, can impact perception and drive volume spikes. Any last-minute roster updates or strategic shifts may also lead to notable movement before the market settles.
