This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between JLY and WanZhen Esports Club in the KPL Growth League Group Stage, initially scheduled for July 4 at 1:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "JLY" if JLY win the match against WanZhen Esports Club. This market will resolve to "WanZhen Esports Club" if WanZhen Esports Club win the match against JLY. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven purely by trader belief—no house edge. For this market, prediction market participants may price outcomes differently than traditional sportsbooks because they're wagering real capital on their conviction. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus differs and highlight potential value, though both should be viewed as estimates rather than certainties.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker (AMM) system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more capital flowing toward one outcome, the higher its price rises, and vice versa. This continuous price discovery mechanism means odds adjust in real time as new information surfaces—team roster changes, recent performance, injury reports, or betting sentiment. Liquidity depth determines how much you can trade without slippage, so higher-volume markets tend to offer tighter spreads and more reliable pricing.
This market resolves around Jul 4, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official series winner in the best-of-five format. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell shares as odds fluctuate. Resolution happens automatically once the event is finalized and the platform receives confirmation, at which point all positions settle according to the actual result.
Several factors could shift odds before the match begins or unfolds. Team roster announcements, player substitutions, or last-minute lineup changes often trigger sharp moves. Recent tournament performance, head-to-head records, and meta-game shifts in Honor of Kings can influence trader positioning. During the series itself, each game result will ripple through the odds—a 2–0 lead dramatically changes the probability of a 3–2 comeback compared to an even 1–1 split. Community sentiment, expert predictions, and betting volume spikes can also accelerate price swings as traders react to new information.
