This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between JLY and UU Gamers in the KPL Growth League Group Stage, initially scheduled for July 13 at 6:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "JLY" if JLY win the match against UU Gamers. This market will resolve to "UU Gamers" if UU Gamers win the match against JLY. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance liability and profit; prediction markets aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. For esports events like this one, sportsbook coverage can be limited or unavailable, making prediction markets a primary venue for price discovery. Comparing the two reveals whether professional oddsmakers and decentralized traders agree on the likely outcome, offering insight into consensus strength.
This market resolves around Jul 13, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution hinges on the final result of the best-of-five series, determined by which team wins the required number of games. Traders holding positions aligned with the verified outcome receive their payout, while opposing positions expire worthless. Early resolution is possible if one team clinches the series before all five games are played.
Team roster changes, recent performance trends, and player form leading up to the match are key catalysts that shift trader positioning. Injury announcements or roster substitutions can trigger sharp repricing as participants reassess win probability. Pre-match commentary from analysts and community sentiment on social media often precede visible volume spikes. During the series itself, each game outcome will reset expectations for the remaining matches, creating dynamic price swings as the best-of-five unfolds and the path to victory narrows for each team.
