This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between JLY and Koala Game in the KPL Growth League Group Stage, initially scheduled for July 6 at 8:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "JLY" if JLY win the match against Koala Game. This market will resolve to "Koala Game" if Koala Game win the match against JLY. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the collective beliefs of traders who have real money at stake. This market may show different implied probabilities than what you'd find at a conventional esports sportsbook, particularly as new information emerges or as the event date approaches. Direct comparison requires checking both venues independently.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds through an automated market maker that adjusts prices based on buy and sell pressure. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current top outcome reflects strong trader conviction, though prices remain fluid until resolution. Each share represents a claim on the outcome, and the market price directly translates to an implied probability. As more traders participate or new developments emerge, the pricing adjusts to reflect updated expectations about which team will prevail in this series.
This market resolves around Jul 6, 2026, once the series concludes and the winner is verified against credible public reporting from the KPL Growth League. The outcome is determined by which team wins the best-of-five matchup according to official tournament records. Until that point, prices may fluctuate based on team performance, roster changes, or other factors that traders believe will influence the final result. Resolution is automatic once the event result is confirmed.
Several catalysts could shift prices in this market before it resolves. Team roster announcements, player injuries, or recent performance in other KPL matches may influence trader expectations. Scrimmage results or public statements from coaches and players could also sway sentiment. As the series date approaches, any news about meta shifts in the game, patch changes, or head-to-head records between these teams may trigger repricing. Once games begin, live results will drive the most significant movements in implied probabilities.
