This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between JA Gaming and TC Grouping in the KPL Growth League Group Stage, initially scheduled for June 28 at 6:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "JA Gaming" if JA Gaming win the match against TC Grouping. This market will resolve to "TC Grouping" if TC Grouping win the match against JA Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate beliefs from traders risking real capital on outcomes. For esports events like this one, prediction markets may incorporate faster-moving information from the gaming community, whereas sportsbooks prioritize margin and liability management. Comparing the two can reveal where one venue perceives greater or lesser probability than the other, though both aim to reflect underlying event likelihood.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that adjusts odds based on trader buy and sell activity. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current top outcome reflects the aggregate belief of all participants trading against the liquidity pool. As traders place orders, the price shifts to balance supply and demand, with larger trades moving the odds more dramatically than smaller ones. This continuous repricing mechanism means odds can change rapidly in response to roster updates, team performance data, or other esports-specific developments relevant to the matchup.
This market resolves around Jun 28, 2026, once the event concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the actual match result—whether it is a series win for JA Gaming, TC Grouping, or in some cases a draw or no-contest scenario depending on the specific market structure. Resolution typically occurs within hours of the final game, after official tournament organizers or broadcast partners confirm the winner. Traders should monitor official KPL announcements and esports news outlets for confirmation before settlement is finalized.
Several catalysts could shift odds significantly before the match begins. Roster changes, player substitutions, or last-minute injury announcements affecting either team would likely trigger sharp price movement. Recent tournament results, head-to-head records, and patch updates to the Honor of Kings game itself can influence trader expectations. Team statements, coaching changes, or scrim results shared by esports analysts may also sway sentiment. Additionally, betting volume spikes from professional traders or known esports syndicates can accelerate repricing, so monitoring social media and esports forums for breaking news is valuable for active traders.
