This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between Hero JiuJing and eStar Pro in the King Pro League Stage 1 Group 2, initially scheduled for July 5 at 2:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Hero JiuJing" if Hero JiuJing win the match against eStar Pro. This market will resolve to "eStar Pro" if eStar Pro win the match against Hero JiuJing. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different pricing mechanisms. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets are priced by traders responding to new information and their own forecasts. This market may show higher or lower implied probabilities than traditional sportsbooks, depending on whether traders believe the consensus is mispriced. Comparing the two can reveal where smart money sees value, though sportsbook odds typically incorporate sharper professional betting syndicates.
On Polymarket, traders set prices by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker system. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each share represents a claim on the event outcome, and the price reflects the collective belief of all active traders. As new developments emerge—team announcements, player performance data, or expert commentary—traders adjust their positions, moving the price up or down. The current odds represent the marginal trader's view and update continuously throughout the trading window.
This market resolves around Jul 5, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the official match result as recorded by the King Pro League. Resolution hinges on which team wins the best-of-five series, with no ambiguity in the final score. Traders should monitor official league channels and reputable esports news outlets for confirmation before settlement occurs.
Several catalysts could shift odds before resolution. Roster changes, player injuries, or unexpected roster swaps announced by either team would likely trigger repricing. Recent match results and head-to-head records between the squads carry weight as traders update their forecasts. Pre-match interviews, coach statements, or leaked practice footage can influence sentiment. Patch updates to the game itself may favor one team's playstyle over another. Monitor esports news outlets and official team social media for announcements that could reshape market expectations.
