This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between eStar Pro and Douyu Gaming in the King Pro League Stage 2 Group B, initially scheduled for July 16 at 5:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "eStar Pro" if eStar Pro win the match against Douyu Gaming. This market will resolve to "Douyu Gaming" if Douyu Gaming win the match against eStar Pro. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets are driven by traders risking real capital on their beliefs. For this market, prediction market prices may offer sharper or more efficient signals than sportsbooks, especially if professional esports bettors concentrate their activity on one venue. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus differs and highlight potential value opportunities.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the probability assigned by the market at any given moment, and trading volume directly influences how quickly prices adjust to new information. As traders place orders, the cost to buy or sell shifts, ensuring prices remain responsive to breaking news, team roster changes, or other developments relevant to the match.
This market resolves around Jul 16, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official final score and winner declared by the King Pro League. Until that point, prices will continue to fluctuate as new information emerges and traders update their positions. Resolution is automatic once the event is complete and the data is confirmed.
Several catalysts could shift prices before the match begins. Roster announcements, player injuries, or last-minute lineup changes for either team would likely trigger sharp repricing. Recent tournament results, head-to-head records, and performance trends in the current King Pro League season all influence trader expectations. Media reports on team form, coaching decisions, or strategic meta shifts in the game itself can also move odds. As the event date approaches, increased media coverage and expert analysis may drive trading volume and volatility higher.
