This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between EDward Gaming and eStar Pro in the King Pro League Stage 1 Group 2, initially scheduled for July 3 at 5:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "EDward Gaming" if EDward Gaming win the match against eStar Pro. This market will resolve to "eStar Pro" if eStar Pro win the match against EDward Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like Polymarket aggregate trader beliefs through continuous price discovery. Sportsbooks may adjust faster to sharp money and professional bettors, whereas prediction markets can be slower to react if retail participation dominates. Neither is inherently more accurate; comparing this market's odds to major sportsbooks can reveal where consensus differs and highlight potential value opportunities.
On Polymarket, traders set prices through an automated market maker and order-book mechanism, where each outcome contract trades as a separate instrument. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The top outcome currently reflects strong conviction among participants. Prices move as traders buy and sell contracts, with the implied probability of each result visible as a percentage. Liquidity and trading volume influence how quickly prices respond to new information, and wider spreads may appear during low-activity periods.
This market resolves around Jul 3, 2026, once the series concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the official final score and winner as confirmed through established esports news sources and the King Pro League's official channels. Early resolution may occur if one team clinches an insurmountable lead before all five games are played. Traders should monitor official league announcements and broadcast coverage to stay informed as the event approaches its resolution date.
Key catalysts include roster changes, player injuries, or substitutions announced before the series begins. Team performance in recent King Pro League matches and head-to-head records can shift trader expectations. In-game momentum swings, unexpected strategies, or dominant performances in early games may trigger significant repricing of later-game outcomes. Media coverage, expert analysis, and community sentiment on esports forums can also influence trading activity. Any official league statements regarding format changes or scheduling adjustments could impact how traders value remaining outcomes.
