Description

This market will resolve to "Dragon Ranger Gaming" if Dragon Ranger Gaming win the match against WST. This market will resolve to "WST" if WST win the match against Dragon Ranger Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate distributed trader beliefs in real time. For esports events like this one, sportsbooks may have limited coverage or wider spreads, whereas prediction markets can offer tighter pricing when volume is active. Comparing the two reveals whether professional oddsmakers and decentralized traders agree on the likely outcome.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker mechanism where traders buy and sell shares corresponding to possible outcomes. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the collective probability assigned by all active traders, with share prices ranging from near zero to one dollar. As traders place orders, the pricing adjusts dynamically to balance supply and demand. This continuous repricing ensures the market remains responsive to new information and shifting expectations about the series result.

This market resolves around Jul 18, 2026, once the best-of-five series between Dragon Ranger Gaming and WST concludes. The outcome is confirmed when the match result is verifiable from credible public reporting of the King Pro League. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell shares reflecting their expectations. Resolution hinges on the final series score, with no ambiguity once the official result is published by the league.

Several factors could shift trader positioning before resolution. Recent team performance, roster changes, or injury announcements affecting either Dragon Ranger Gaming or WST may trigger repricing. In-match developments—such as an unexpected game win or loss—typically cause sharp volume spikes and price swings as new information reaches traders. Pre-match commentary from analysts, patch updates to the game, or head-to-head records can also influence sentiment. Watch for unusual volume or sudden odds movements as potential early signals of shifting expectations.
