Description

This market refers to the Honor of Kings match between Dragon Ranger Gaming and eStar Pro in the King Pro League Stage 2 Group B, initially scheduled for July 9 at 8:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Dragon Ranger Gaming" if Dragon Ranger Gaming win the match against eStar Pro. This market will resolve to "eStar Pro" if eStar Pro win the match against Dragon Ranger Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the dashboard for the Dragon Ranger Gaming vs eStar Pro match displays real-time odds and price movements as traders buy and sell shares tied to match outcomes. You can monitor how the community's confidence in each team shifts throughout the trading period, along with historical price charts showing how sentiment has evolved. The interface also surfaces key metrics including current odds for each potential result, allowing you to compare your own assessment against the market's collective view of this King Pro League Stage 2 Group B encounter.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven purely by trader conviction and capital allocation. Prediction markets can sometimes offer sharper, less biased estimates because participants have direct financial exposure to accuracy. However, sportsbooks may incorporate additional proprietary data or real-time adjustments. Comparing this market's odds to major sportsbooks can reveal where public perception differs from professional oddsmaking.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that adjusts odds based on the volume and direction of trades. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders purchase shares representing each outcome, and the cumulative buy and sell pressure determines the real-time probability displayed for Dragon Ranger Gaming, eStar Pro, or other match results. As more capital flows into one outcome, its price rises and others fall, creating a dynamic equilibrium. This mechanism ensures continuous liquidity and allows you to enter or exit positions at transparent, algorithmically-determined rates throughout the trading window.

This market resolves around Jul 9, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome will be confirmed based on the official final score and winner announced by the King Pro League or its authorized broadcasters. Until that point, prices will continue to fluctuate as new information emerges—team roster updates, recent performance trends, or live match developments. Traders can adjust positions right up until resolution, making this an active market through the event's completion.

Several catalysts could shift odds significantly before resolution. Roster changes, injuries to key players, or recent tournament performance by either team will influence trader positioning. Live match developments—such as early game momentum, map bans in the series, or unexpected strategic shifts—typically trigger sharp price movements as new information reaches the market. Pre-match analysis from esports commentators or community sentiment on social media can also sway perception. Additionally, any official announcements regarding format changes or scheduling adjustments would prompt immediate repricing as traders reassess their positions.
