If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. On Polymarket, traders stake real capital on outcomes, creating prices driven by informed bettors and market dynamics rather than bookmaker margins. Sportsbooks, by contrast, adjust lines to balance liability and lock in profit. For esports events like this one, prediction markets may offer sharper pricing in niche competitions where sportsbook coverage is limited, though both venues ultimately converge toward the true probability as new information emerges.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader buy and sell orders into real-time probabilities. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the aggregate belief of all participants; as traders buy shares in one outcome, the price rises and the implied probability adjusts. Liquidity and order flow determine how quickly prices move, so markets with higher trading volume typically exhibit tighter spreads and faster price discovery. You can enter or exit positions at any time before resolution.

This market resolves around Jul 26, 2026, once the match concludes and the result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by the final score of the best-of-five series, with the winner being the team that secures three games first. Your position will settle automatically based on how the event unfolds, with no manual intervention required. Early resolution is possible if one team clinches before all five games are played.

Several factors could shift odds before the match begins. Team roster changes, player injuries, or last-minute lineup announcements often trigger sharp moves as traders reassess competitive balance. Recent performance data, head-to-head records, and meta-game shifts in Honor of Kings can also influence pricing. Media coverage and analyst commentary may sway retail traders, while professional esports betting syndicates often move the market on new strategic information. Watch for official team statements or patch updates to the game that could affect hero viability and team preparation.
