This market refers to the Honor of Kings Round 1 match between Deep Cross Gaming and King of Gamers Club in the Arena of Valor Premier League Swiss Stage, initially scheduled for June 19 at 2:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Deep Cross Gaming" if Deep Cross Gaming win the match against King of Gamers Club. This market will resolve to "King of Gamers Club" if King of Gamers Club win the match against Deep Cross Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and traditional sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant pools and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance liability and profit, while prediction markets aggregate decentralized trader beliefs in real time. For esports events like this one, sportsbooks may have tighter spreads due to professional risk management, whereas prediction markets can exhibit wider ranges if liquidity is concentrated or if retail traders dominate. Comparing the two reveals whether consensus favors one outcome or if sharp disagreement exists between venues.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds through an automated market maker mechanism that adjusts prices based on buy and sell volume. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current implied probability reflects the aggregate belief of all participants holding positions. As traders deposit capital to back their preferred outcome, the price moves to equilibrate supply and demand. This continuous repricing ensures the market remains responsive to new information and shifting sentiment throughout the lead-up to the match.
This market resolves around Jun 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the match result is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution hinges on the official final score and winner of the best-of-three series as recorded by the Arena of Valor Premier League. Once the event concludes and the result is publicly documented, the market will settle in accordance with the verified outcome. Traders should monitor official league channels and credible esports news sources for confirmation.
Several factors could shift trader sentiment before resolution. Roster changes, player injuries, or roster substitutions announced by either Deep Cross Gaming or King of Gamers Club would likely trigger repricing. Recent tournament performance, head-to-head records, and patch updates to the game itself can influence perceived competitive balance. Media coverage highlighting team form, coaching changes, or strategic innovations may also sway the odds. Closer to the match date, warm-up results and official team statements could accelerate price movement as traders refine their forecasts.
