This market refers to the Honor of Kings Round 4 match between BanMei Gaming and GAM Esports in the Arena of Valor Premier League Swiss Stage, initially scheduled for June 27 at 8:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "BanMei Gaming" if BanMei Gaming win the match against GAM Esports. This market will resolve to "GAM Esports" if GAM Esports win the match against BanMei Gaming. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital. For this market, comparing Polymarket pricing to traditional sportsbook lines on the same series can reveal whether traders are more bullish or bearish on a longer match than bookmakers expect. These differences highlight how decentralized markets sometimes price events differently than centralized betting venues.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds through an automated market maker mechanism where buying or selling shares directly moves the price. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each share represents a claim on the outcome—in this case, whether the series goes over or under 4.5 games. The current price reflects the aggregate belief of all traders; as new information emerges or sentiment shifts, the market adjusts in real time. Liquidity and trading volume influence how quickly prices respond to new developments.
This market resolves around Jun 27, 2026, once the Honor of Kings match between the two teams concludes and the final game count is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome hinges on whether the best-of-five series ends in four games or fewer, or extends to five games. Resolution occurs after the event is officially confirmed, ensuring all traders have access to the same verified result before payouts are distributed.
Several factors could shift odds before the match begins or during the series. Team roster changes, recent performance trends, and head-to-head records influence trader expectations about series length. In-game momentum, unexpected upsets, or dominant performances by key players can also sway the market during live play. Pre-match analysis from esports commentators and community sentiment may drive early trading activity. Any news affecting player availability or team strategy could trigger significant price movement as traders reassess the likelihood of a quick sweep versus a competitive five-game series.
