This market refers to the Honor of Kings Round 1 match between Bacon Time and GAM Esports in the Arena of Valor Premier League Swiss Stage, initially scheduled for June 19 at 8:00AM ET. This market will resolve to "Bacon Time" if Bacon Time win the match against GAM Esports. This market will resolve to "GAM Esports" if GAM Esports win the match against Bacon Time. If the match is canceled (not played at all), ends in a tie, or is delayed beyond 7 days from the scheduled date without a winner determined, this market will resolve to 50-50. If the match begins but is not completed, and one team wins due to the opponent's forfeiture, disqualification, or walkover, this market will resolve to the team who wins. If the match ends in a forfeit, disqualification, or walkover (team withdraws before the start and the other wins automatically), this market will resolve to 50-50. The resolution source for this market will be official information from https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page. However, if https://liquipedia.net/honorofkings/Main_Page has not published final results within 2 hours after the event’s conclusion, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead including video evidence. In cases where a team’s listed name includes minor discrepancies from the resolution source, this market will resolve based on the underlying real-world match rather than exact name matching. Recognizable abbreviations, alternate or erroneous spellings, sponsor tags, affiliate or academy designations, regional identifiers, and minor formatting differences will be treated as referring to the same team, provided the intended team can be clearly and uniquely identified within the relevant competition. If a listed team name has no reasonable connection to any participating team, or if it matches or could reasonably refer to another team in the same competition such that the intended team cannot be unambiguously determined, this market will resolve 50-50.

Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets are driven by trader consensus and real-money conviction. This market may price outcomes differently than traditional sports betting sites because traders here are directly wagering on the event's actual result rather than playing against a fixed line. Comparing the two can reveal where public opinion and professional oddsmakers disagree.
This market resolves around Jun 19, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution hinges on the actual match result—which team wins each game and ultimately the series. Once the event concludes and the winner is officially documented, the market settles automatically based on what occurred. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome receive their payout at that time.
Team roster changes, player injuries, recent performance streaks, and pre-match analysis from esports commentators can all shift trader sentiment before the match begins. Lineup announcements or coaching adjustments may trigger sharp price moves if they significantly alter perceived win probability. As the match unfolds, live game results will drive dramatic repricing—early leads, map wins, or momentum swings can cause rapid probability shifts. Breaking news about player availability or team form closer to the event date could also influence final odds.
