This event is for the WBB game between Holy Cross Crusaders and Michigan Wolverines on March 20 at 5:30 PM ET.
If the game is postponed, this market will remain open until the game has been completed.
If the game is canceled entirely, with no make-up game, this market will resolve 50-50.
Kalshi and Polymarket resolve on fundamentally different event types. Kalshi settles on total points scored (over/under thresholds), while Polymarket settles on match winner (Holy Cross vs Michigan). These are incompatible resolution bases for the same game.
Hero Tip:
Do not assume these markets will move in tandem. A Kalshi YES (high-scoring game) can occur regardless of which team wins on Polymarket. Conversely, a Polymarket Holy Cross win tells you nothing about whether Kalshi's point thresholds are met. Treat them as independent events.
Critical Divergence Points:
Kalshi:
Outlier: Resolves YES if combined Holy Cross and Michigan score exceeds any of 11 specified point thresholds (115.5, 118.5, 121.5, 124.5, 127.5, 130.5, 133.5, 136.5, 139.5, 142.5, 145.5 total points). Resolution is purely on aggregate scoring, independent of which team wins. Key quote: 'If Holy Cross and Michigan collectively score over [threshold] total points in the Holy Cross vs Michigan women's college basketball game originally scheduled for Mar 20, 2026, then the market resolves to Yes.'
Polymarket:
Outlier: Resolves to either 'Holy Cross Crusaders' or 'Michigan Wolverines' based solely on which team wins the game. Resolution is determined by final score including overtime, with postponement and cancellation clauses. Key quote: 'If the Holy Cross Crusaders win, the market will resolve to Holy Cross Crusaders. If the Michigan Wolverines win, the market will resolve to Michigan Wolverines.'
