On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the probability of each outcome. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy shares in a particular candidate, the price increases, reflecting growing confidence in their chances of winning. Conversely, selling pressure drives the price down. This dynamic pricing ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date collective assessment of the election’s likely result.
This market resolves around Oct 6, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution will be based on the official results announced by the Czech electoral authorities. The candidate who receives the majority of votes in the election will be declared the winner, and that outcome will determine the settlement of this market. Traders should monitor official sources for the final results to understand when the market will be settled and how their positions will be affected.
Several signals and events could significantly move this market before Oct 6, 2026. Major developments in the campaigns, such as significant endorsements, unexpected policy announcements, or impactful debate performances, could all shift trader sentiment. Polling data releases, particularly those showing substantial changes in voter preferences, will also likely cause price fluctuations. Any unforeseen events, like scandals or major economic news, could also influence the market. Traders should closely follow these events to anticipate potential shifts in the odds and adjust their positions accordingly.
