Generally, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often converging towards what many consider the 'true' probability of an event. This differs from sportsbook odds, which can be influenced by factors like house bias, public perception, and marketing efforts. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of Hideki Matsuyama recording 2 or more points at the 2026 Presidents Cup. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. This market resolves around Oct 12, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
