However, if the governing body or event organizers have not published final match statistics within 2 hours after the event's conclusion, data from Flashscore may be used; if Flashscore data is unavailable, data from Sofascore may be used; if neither is available, a consensus of credible reporting may be used instead. All markets will settle based on the official final result as recognized by the governing body or event organizers. Revisions to officially declared final scores made after market resolution will not be accounted for in determining the outcome. If no acceptable data is available within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, this market will resolve 50-50, or to "Draw" where applicable.

Typically, prediction market odds reflect the wisdom of the crowd, often differing from initial sportsbook offerings. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action, while this market allows participants to freely express their beliefs about the outcome. If a significant number of traders believe a particular exact score is more likely than implied by sportsbook odds, the price will adjust accordingly. It’s common to see discrepancies, especially as the event approaches and more information—like team lineups—becomes public. Keep in mind that sportsbooks may also adjust their odds based on market movement.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in each possible exact score. The price of a share directly corresponds to the probability of that outcome occurring. As more traders participate, the prices converge to reflect the collective prediction. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market’s price movements are driven by supply and demand; if many traders buy shares in a specific outcome, its price increases, indicating growing confidence in that result.
This market resolves around Sep 7, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final score of the HFX Wanderers FC versus Cavalry FC match will be used to determine the winning outcome. The platform will verify the result against official sources to ensure accuracy and transparency. Traders who correctly predicted the exact score will be eligible to receive their payout based on the final price of their chosen outcome shares at the time of resolution.
Several factors could influence the price of this market. Any news regarding key player injuries or suspensions for either HFX Wanderers FC or Cavalry FC would likely cause significant movement. Changes in weather conditions, particularly if they are expected to heavily impact the game, could also shift predictions. Unexpected team lineup announcements or tactical changes revealed before kickoff could also lead to price adjustments. Finally, any late-breaking news or analysis from reputable sports sources could influence trader sentiment and impact the market.
