Prediction market odds often differ from traditional sportsbook odds due to the differing incentives and information sources of the participants. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and ensure profit, while prediction markets reflect the collective wisdom of traders who are incentivized to accurately forecast the outcome. This can lead to prediction markets being more accurate, especially when a significant amount of information isn't yet publicly available. It's common to see discrepancies between the two, as sportsbooks may be slower to adjust to new information or public sentiment than traders in this market.
