This market tracks which team will lead at the end of the first half in an upcoming college football game between Hawai'i and Stanford. It captures the competitive momentum early in the match, reflecting strategic starts and initial performance. The outcome depends solely on the scoring during the first half of play.
The market resolves based on which team is leading at the end of the first half of the Hawai'i vs Stanford college football game scheduled for August 29, 2026. If Stanford scores more points than Hawai'i in the first half, the 'Stanford wins 1st Half' market resolves to Yes. If Hawai'i scores more points than Stanford in the first half, the 'Hawai'i wins 1st Half' market resolves to Yes. If both teams score the same number of points in the first half, resulting in a tie, the 'Tie 1st Half' market resolves to Yes. Only points scored during the first half count toward the resolution. If the game is postponed but commences within 48 hours of the original scheduled start time, the market remains open and resolves based on the official result of the first half. If the game does not start within 48 hours of the scheduled time, the market resolves to a fair price. Kalshi is not affiliated with the governing league, and all trademarks belong to their respective owners.
On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Kalshi, traders manually set prices through buying and selling contracts, which determines the implied probability for each outcome. The current top chance reflects collective wisdom among participants, adjusting dynamically to new information such as player injuries or weather updates. This decentralized pricing model captures niche insights that might not appear in larger sportsbook markets.
This market resolves around Aug 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result is determined by the official game records showing which team led at the end of the first half, and the platform will finalise contracts based on that data. No additional analysis or interpretation is required beyond the publicly available score.
Key signals such as starting lineups, early game momentum, or weather conditions could shift this market as the match nears. Injuries to star players or strategic decisions by coaches may also influence trader sentiment. Any unexpected developments that affect the teams' early performance potential will likely cause price swings, especially given the short time frame and focused nature of the bet.
