Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and manage risk, while prediction markets aggregate the beliefs of traders risking real capital on outcomes. This market may show higher or lower implied probability than a typical sportsbook line on the same event, depending on whether informed traders on Limitless see value that bookmakers have mispriced. Comparing the two can reveal where consensus differs and help you identify potential edges in your analysis.
On Limitless, traders set prices through continuous order matching, where the current market price reflects the most recent trade between buyers and sellers. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders enter positions, the price adjusts in real time to balance supply and demand. You can place limit or market orders to buy or sell shares at your desired price or at the current best available rate. The spread between bid and ask prices tightens or widens based on trading volume and conviction, so periods of high activity typically offer tighter pricing and faster execution.
This market resolves around Jun 30, 2026, after the match between Germany and Paraguay concludes. The outcome is determined by whether Havertz scores at least one goal during the match. Once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting, this market will settle to reflect the final result. Traders holding winning shares receive their payout, while losing positions expire worthless. The resolution window allows time for official confirmation before final settlement.
Several factors could shift trader conviction before the match. Team news—such as Havertz being ruled out due to injury or suspension—would likely push prices lower. Conversely, confirmation that he is fit and starting would support higher odds. Paraguay's defensive lineup and recent form could also influence expectations around goal-scoring opportunities. Pre-match analysis from credible sports analysts, betting syndicates, or official team statements may trigger repricing as new information reaches the market. Weather conditions and venue details announced closer to kickoff can also affect how traders assess the likelihood of goals.
