Frequently asked questions

Often, prediction market odds reflect a different perspective than those found at traditional sportsbooks. Sportsbooks typically incorporate a 'vig' or commission into their odds, ensuring a profit margin, while Polymarket allows traders to directly express their beliefs about the probability of each outcome. This can lead to discrepancies, with prediction markets sometimes offering more favorable odds, especially when there's significant disagreement between the crowd and the sportsbook. Analyzing these differences can reveal where the 'wisdom of the crowd' diverges from professional oddsmakers for this match.

This market resolves around Sep 16, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.
