On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, traders manually place bets that directly set the market price, with the top outcome’s chance displayed as a percentage. The current pricing reflects aggregated user expectations about which side is most likely to score first, adjusted for available liquidity and recent trading volume. This mechanism allows rapid price adjustments in response to breaking news or shifting momentum in the match build-up.
This market resolves around Aug 22, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result depends entirely on which team scores the first goal in the match, as recorded by official match reports and widely accepted sports news outlets. No subjective interpretation is involved — the first confirmed goal determines the winner of this market.
Injuries to key attacking players, weather delays, or tactical changes announced by coaches can all shift this market. On Polymarket, any public update that alters the perceived likelihood of an early goal — such as a star forward being ruled out or a manager signaling an aggressive start — may cause rapid price swings. High trading volume around such news often precedes noticeable movements in the odds.
