This market determines the winner of the second set in the professional tennis match between Harriet Dart and Katie Boulter at the 2026 WTA Nottingham tournament Round of 32 on June 15.
The market resolves based on which player wins set 2 of the Harriet Dart vs Katie Boulter match in the 2026 WTA Nottingham Round of 32. If the match does not occur before play begins due to injury, walkover, forfeiture, or cancellation, the market resolves to a fair price. If postponed or delayed, the market remains open and closes after the rescheduled match concludes within two weeks. If a player retires, markets that can be unconditionally settled based on completed play resolve accordingly; those that cannot are settled at Fair Market Price as determined by the Exchange.
Prediction market odds and sportsbook odds often diverge because they reflect different participant bases and incentive structures. Sportsbooks set lines to balance action and lock in profit margins, while prediction markets like this one are driven by traders risking real capital on their beliefs. Prediction markets can sometimes offer sharper, more efficient pricing because participants have direct financial exposure to accuracy. However, sportsbooks may move faster on breaking news or injury reports. Comparing the two can reveal valuable insights: if this market prices Dart significantly higher than major sportsbooks, it may signal contrarian trader conviction worth investigating.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for shares representing each player's chances. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the collective belief of all active traders at any given moment. As new information emerges—such as player form, court conditions, or head-to-head history—traders adjust their positions, causing prices to shift. Kalshi's transparent, real-time pricing allows you to see exactly what other traders are willing to pay or accept, creating a dynamic market that responds quickly to changing circumstances surrounding the Dart vs Boulter matchup.
This market resolves around Jun 15, 2026, once the second set of the Dart vs Boulter match concludes and the winner is verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by which player wins the set according to official tournament records or reliable sports reporting. Until that point, traders can continue to buy and sell shares as new information and match developments influence their expectations. Resolution is final once the set result is confirmed, and all positions settle accordingly.
Several factors could shift prices significantly before the match concludes. Player injuries, recent form trends, or coaching changes announced before play begins may trigger immediate repricing. During the match itself, the outcome of the first set is a major catalyst—momentum often carries into subsequent sets, and traders will adjust their bets based on how each player performs early. Court conditions, weather delays, or unexpected tactical adjustments can also influence market sentiment. Additionally, real-time commentary and live score updates will drive continuous trading activity as the second set unfolds, with each break point, service hold, or momentum swing potentially moving the odds.
