Frequently asked questions

Prediction market odds on this market often differ from traditional sportsbook lines due to the decentralized nature of trading on Polymarket. While sportsbooks may set their odds based on broader analytics and public betting patterns, prediction markets let participants bet directly on their beliefs, which can lead to sharper or more volatile prices. Traders should compare these odds to sportsbook lines to spot potential value, keeping in mind that prediction market prices reflect the real-time consensus of Polymarket users rather than a single bookmaker’s model.

This market resolves around Aug 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The final second-half result will be compared against the market’s listed options to determine the winning side. Timing depends on when official match data becomes publicly available post-game.

Key moments such as team announcements, player injuries, weather updates, or tactical changes may shift expectations and move this market. Live in-game performance — especially early second-half goals or red cards — often causes rapid price adjustments. Traders will also watch for any last-minute news affecting team morale or lineup decisions as these factors shape the likely second-half outcome.
