Frequently asked questions

Typically, prediction market odds reflect a wisdom-of-the-crowd perspective, often incorporating information and analysis beyond what’s readily available to traditional sportsbooks. While sportsbooks set initial lines based on team statistics and expert opinions, this market allows anyone to participate and express their view, potentially leading to odds that differ from those found at sportsbooks. These differences can arise from unique insights or a different weighting of available information, offering a potentially valuable comparison point for informed bettors.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through a continuous auction mechanism. Traders buy and sell shares representing their belief in the likelihood of a particular outcome. As more shares are purchased for a specific outcome, its price increases, reflecting growing confidence. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a share directly corresponds to the implied probability of that outcome occurring. This dynamic pricing ensures that the market reflects the collective intelligence of all participants, constantly adjusting to new information and changing perspectives.

This market resolves around Sep 14, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution will be based on the official result of the second half of the Hapoel Ramat Gan Givatayim FC versus Maccabi Netanya FC match. The outcome will be determined by the official score at the end of the second half, as reported by a recognized sports data provider. Traders will then be able to claim their winnings based on the final result.

Several factors could influence trading activity in this market before resolution. Any news regarding team injuries, changes in player lineups, or tactical adjustments announced by the coaches could significantly impact the perceived probabilities. Additionally, real-time performance during the first half of the match, such as early goals or red cards, will likely cause rapid shifts in the odds. General football news and analysis, as well as public sentiment expressed on social media, could also contribute to movements in this market.
