This market tracks the outcome of the first map in an upcoming professional League of Legends match between two top esports teams. The result depends solely on which team secures the victory in that specific map. Various scenarios such as match cancellations or forfeitures have predefined resolution methods.
The event determines the winner of Map 1 in the LCK 2026 match between Hanwha Life Esports and T1, scheduled for August 8, 2026, at 4:00 AM EDT. If Hanwha Life Esports wins Map 1, its corresponding market resolves to Yes; if T1 wins Map 1, its market resolves to Yes. If the match or map is postponed beyond 48 hours, cancelled, or forfeited before play begins, both markets resolve to the fair market price. If a map begins and is later forfeited, the result follows the official outcome published by the governing body. Kalshi is not affiliated with the LCK or any League of Legends governing body.
Prediction market odds in this market reflect the collective wisdom of traders on Kalshi, often differing from traditional sportsbook lines. While sportsbooks may incorporate additional factors or adjustments, the prediction market price here is driven purely by trader sentiment and positions, which can lead to variations in implied probabilities compared to standard sportsbook odds.
This market resolves around Aug 8, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The result depends solely on the on-stage competition — specifically, which team secures the first map win. No internal platform mechanisms or external judgments influence the result; it is tied entirely to the match’s official outcome as reported after it concludes.
